Don Tillman, genius genetics professor, can effectively dub his limited dating experiences as a series of “incidents”. Don has under-developed social skills and does not recognize his own Asperger’s like symptoms, although he is a guest lecturer for “aspies” and their bewildered parents.
With some gentle prodding from one of his only four friends (an academic couple and their two children), Don begins “The Wife Project”. He develops a survey, sixteen pages in length, of questions intended to weed out smokers, picky eaters, late arrivers, the mathematical illiterate, and women who have made undesirable personal choices. Then he meets Rosie Jarman, who does not pass the wife survey, yet intrigues him so. How can this be?
A charming, funny romance populated by characters the reader will come to love. The Rosie Project is a delightful, happy read.
